Mrs. Joelle Smith Director
Joelle Smith, a Florida certified teacher, wife, and mother, brings more than 25 years of experience in education. She was nominated, as teacher-of-the-year, her first year of teaching and went on to create a middle school drama program while teaching in public school for 12 years. Since 2013, she homeschooled her three daughters and niece. For 5 years, Joelle tutored and taught classes in all subject areas and ages 6 to 23. She is a recently published author. The Living School is her dream of reaching all students who don't fit into the traditional mold of education by teaching using real-life experiences and hands-on learning. "There's nothing like learning in the real world!"
Miss Liberty Assistant Director
Miss Liberty graduated as a homeschooler in 2020. She studied photography while employed as a newborn photographer before joining TLS as the Assistant Director. She has a passion for reading and spends her free time enthralled in her love of books. She is currently training to become a Registered Behavior Therapist.
